They are responsible for determining project requirements and identifying potential solutions. They then define the scope of the project and gather information and document the requirements. Business analysis professionals help an organization improve how they conduct functions and activities in order to reduce costs, and provide the most efficient use of resources.



Training:



To work as a business analyst, you will need at least a bachelor's degree. Some coursework might include basic business management, financial management, intro to business analysis and logical data and process modeling. In business analyst programs your training will give you the foundation to understand and identify the businesses needs, and the cost of implementing the proper programs. A degree in this field will allow you to become a highly competent professional in the field of business analysis.



Outlook:



Jobs in business analysis are expected to grow over the next 6 to 8 years. To streamline operations and cut costs, more businesses use these analysts to better conduct the business of their organization. Business analysts in specific geographic locations will make more money than others. A business analyst with 6-8 years of experience can expect to earn 86,144 on average.
